I Almost Threw Out My Keurig. It Wasn't Broken.
Every cup from my Keurig started tasting weak, flat, stale — so I unplugged it and stuck it in a closet. Then I learned the dirty secret of grocery store K-Cups: by the time a pod reaches your kitchen, it's usually spent months going from factory to warehouse to truck to shelf. The flavor oils are long gone. Some brands even over-roast to hide it.
The fix wasn't a new machine. It was fresh pods from Angelino's, a family-owned L.A. roastery that roasts, packs, and ships within 3–5 days — straight to your door, from 39¢ a cup. Over 1,000,000 happy customers. 50+ flavors, no subscription required, and 15% off your first order, applied automatically at checkout.

🏢 $31.6 Million Harbour View Deal Signals Investor Confidence

The News: Richmond-based John B. Levy & Co. purchased Bridgeway Technology Center in Suffolk for $31.6 million. The three-building Harbour View campus totals about 261,000 square feet and is fully leased to tenants including Lockheed Martin, Smithfield Foods, and the Commonwealth of Virginia. The deal closed Sept. 16.
Why It Matters: Office properties have faced a tougher investment market in recent years, but Bridgeway’s full occupancy and established tenants helped attract a major buyer. It’s another sign that North Suffolk’s Harbour View corridor continues to draw outside investment.
👉 The Move: Keep an eye on Harbour View as more commercial investment follows the area’s continued growth.
🚌 Ride Suffolk Transit Free on Election Day

The News: Suffolk Transit is offering fare-free rides on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, making it easier for residents to get around the city without paying a bus fare.
Why It Matters: For residents without reliable transportation, a free ride removes one more hurdle when trying to get to work, appointments, or their assigned polling place.
👉 The Move: Check your route and schedule at Suffolk Transit before heading out. Polls in Suffolk are open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 3
