The News: Rockefeller Group and Matan Companies have started construction on Building 3 at Port 460 in Suffolk. The 1,048,711-square-foot distribution center will be the largest building in the 5.1-million-square-foot industrial park and is expected to be completed in early 2027.
Why It Matters: This is one of Suffolk’s biggest development projects right now. Buildings 1 and 2 are already finished and ready for lease, and Building 3 could bring more business growth, logistics activity, and job opportunities to the city.
