Letโs Have an Honest Conversation About Breasts

Breasts are among the most talked about and medically researched parts of the human body, yet many of us are embarrassed to discuss our breast health openly.ย
Allure Perspectives, a new podcast hosted by Allure editor-in-chief Jessica Cruel, spends its first season exploring how breasts intersect with beauty, health, identity, sexuality, and culture. Episodes feature Olivia Munn on the test she says to take even if your mammogram is clear, sex educator Ericka Hart on reclaiming her body after breast cancer, and a Beverly Hills surgeon on why GLP-1s are driving a surge in breast lifts. All episodes available now.

๐ NSA Has a Shot at a Home Playoff Game

The News: Nansemond-Suffolk Academy enters Fridayโs regular-season finale at 8 and 1 and faces St. Anneโs-Belfield in Charlottesville. A win would likely put the Saints in position to host a playoff game.
Why It Matters: St. Anneโs-Belfield is the same team that knocked NSA out of the playoffs last season. This time, the Saints come in with more confidence, a strong record, and a chance to give their seniors another game at home.
๐ The Move: Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday in Charlottesville. A win could give NSA some serious momentum heading into the postseason.
One nice extra detail: St. Anneโs-Belfield is coached by former Steelers tight end and two-time Super Bowl champion Heath Miller, which gives the matchup a little extra juice
๐ Suffolk Has a New Place for Your Leftover Balloons

The News: New โPop & Dropโ balloon recycling bins are now available at three Suffolk recreation centers. Residents can pop used balloons and drop them off instead of sending them to the trash or letting them end up outdoors.
Why It Matters: Released balloons can become litter, harm wildlife, and end up in waterways. Virginia also prohibits intentionally releasing balloons, with a $25 fine per balloon.
๐ The Move: Drop off used balloons at Bennettโs Creek Recreation Center, Curtis Milteer Recreation Center, or East Suffolk Recreation Center.
โ 7 Brew Is Opening Its First Suffolk Location

The News: 7 Brew Coffee opens its first Suffolk location Monday, Nov. 9, at 1461 N. Main St. The drive thru chain serves coffee, energy drinks, teas, smoothies, and more.
