⚠️ New Missing Person Alert in Suffolk

The News: Virginia State Police issued a Critically Missing Adult Alert for Rosalinda Nealie Hall, 33, of North Suffolk. She was last seen June 19 at 8 a.m. at her home on Village Square Place.

Why It Matters: This is a separate missing person case from the one shared Monday. State Police say Rosalinda’s disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety, and someone in Suffolk may have seen something.

👉 The Move: If you have any information, contact Suffolk Police, submit a tip at p3tips.com, or call the Crime Line at 1-888-562-5887, option 5

🚒 Water Leak Displaces 50 Residents in Suffolk

The News: Around 50 people were displaced from a four-story apartment building in the 300 block of South Saratoga Street Sunday evening after a sprinkler head activated in a laundry room and caused water damage from the fourth floor down to the first.

Why It Matters: No fire or smoke was found, but dozens of residents suddenly had to find another place to stay. Most are staying with family while repairs are handled.

👉 The Move: Shoutout to Suffolk Fire & Rescue for the fast response. If you know any of the displaced residents, check on them. Suffolk takes care of Suffolk.

🛣️Route 58 Flyover Opens in Suffolk

The News: VDOT opened the new single-lane flyover ramp on Route 58 east in Suffolk on June 29, giving eastbound traffic safer access to the SPSA Regional Landfill on Bob Foeller Drive. The old at-grade median crossing is now permanently closed.

Why It Matters: For years, eastbound drivers, including large landfill trucks, had to cross westbound Route 58 traffic to reach the landfill. The new ramp is designed to improve safety and traffic flow along that busy stretch.

👉 The Move: Drivers should watch for remaining shoulder closures and the posted 50 mph speed limit while final work wraps up. Full completion is expected as early as fall 2026.
