🚧 Heads Up Suffolk Drivers, Bridge Road Is Getting Tight

The News: The City of Suffolk is warning drivers about significant lane closures at Shoulders Hill Road and Bridge Road, Route 17, on May 8 and 9 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Shoulders Hill Road will be right turn only onto Bridge Road, Knotts Neck Road will be closed with access rerouted through Walden Road, and drivers may be directed to make U-turns at Windward Lane or Walden Road.
Why It Matters: If you live or travel near Shoulders Hill, Bridge Road, or Knotts Neck Road, these closures could add time to your trip.
👉 The Move: Plan ahead, give yourself extra time, and follow posted detour signs. After 7 p.m. on May 8 and 9, an alternate route is your best bet.
